Family Tree Ministries serves families to help them build strong homes by homeschooling, developing homesteading skills and holiness for spiritual growth. Family Tree Private School offers state-wide registration or enrollment exclusively for homeschoolers, and the ministry strives to provide inspirational content to the public. Family Tree Ministries is a 501c(3) non-profit organization active since 1999 whose overall mission is to Evangelize, Edify and Educate. Directors Bob and Nancy Moral are education innovators, small family farmers, and experts in homeschooling and self-sufficient preparedness. They work together to help make families stronger both spiritually and physically encouraging all to pursue peace with God. The public can access free music, how-to literature and videos, and podcast articles on a variety of topics, such as spiritual growth, homeschooling methods, small family farming skills, special recipes, food preserving methods and how to care for gardens, pastures, fruit trees, a greenhouse, and livestock. Nancy Moral is a life long educator, musician, wife, and mother. Nancy has a Bachelor's Degree in Special Education and a Master's Degree in Educational Technology and Research. She was a Florida certified teacher for over 30 years and taught in public and private schools, K-12 and college levels, and is the founder and administrator of Family Tree Private School for homeschoolers established in 2000. Nancy is an author, developed curricula for the state of Florida and the Seminole Tribe of Florida, and served on boards and advisory councils for homeschooling and accreditation organizations writing policies and procedures. She was an invited speaker before the Florida Senate Education Sub-committee regarding the use of the McKay Scholarship in a homeschool setting for children with disabilities which she did successfully for hundreds of families for 4 years. History of the McKay Scholarship for Homeschooling - Using the McKay Scholarship to serve parents was a big part of Family Tree's history for 4 years and was a great success. The evolution of how this ended is worthy to note. A new law was passed that required schools using the McKay Scholarship to have a building where students physically attend. Family Tree Private School did not adopt this, though all other criteria to participate was met for 4 years. Subsequently, Family Tree became disqualified from continuing to use the McKay Scholarship to serve children with disabilities, yet the state subsequently copied the main parts of this model and implemented it in the state's Florida Gardiner Scholarship in Step up for Students which allows parents to “personalize the education of their children with special needs" without going to a school's building. Presently, at the time of this edit they still currently disqualify all private schools that do not have a "building" where students physically attend but are allowing parents to individually participate in the scholarship for which I am grateful. Director Robert "Bob" Moral is a faithful man of God and husband. Bob actively homeschooled his three children with his wife, Nancy. He operated several businesses for 30 years and now directs farm operations, managing evangelism activities, and providing content for Podcasts such as , The Prepper Consultant, and The Sisterhood of Motherhood as well as many other duties. He has held numerous positions as a coach in football, baseball, and paintball, and is World Champion Paintball Player. He was very active in Christian prison ministry. Bob is a certified Chaplain and is a retired Chaplain for the Constitution Party of Florida. Bob is a strong and effective leader for his family and community and directs topics for teaching, security, farming skills, self-sufficiency preparedness and evangelism.
