student author program

Give your student the opportunity to write their own story.
The Little Tree is the main character in a series of stories for children from different authors about the struggles of a small tree. In the Beginning is the first book in the series where the Little Tree is being threatened by drought and storms, but trusting God that he will live through it and grow to be a big, strong tree one day. It teaches the scripture "Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him." Job 13:15 The Little Tree is very young and hopes to be big and strong like the other trees in the forest. What is the Little Tree going to do when there is no rain and storms come! These books are devoted to all of God's children that they may know God's love and receive the Father's salvation through Jesus Christ our Lord. How Does it Work: Your student will write a short story with the theme of the Little Tree growing in the Lord. They create their own plot and story lines, just like Abigail did. They submit this to Nancy for publication. And, there are no costs to the family!

Let your student become an author!
The Little Tree – Teenage Years is a children’s story about the Little Tree becoming a young teenager. The Little Tree is a young teenager and hopes to grow up big and strong like the other trees in the forest. He is chatting with his other young teenage tree friends, and they make fun of the Little Tree and smirk at God. They ask the Little Tree if he will go with them to do something bad. What is the Little Tree going to say to his teenage tree friends? The Little Tree is looking toward the future with hope knowing that he will become stronger through trials. He has many more adventures to go through as he grows amongst the other trees.
